This cause aims to install boreholes in ten rural villages in Tanzania to provide clean water access, reduce waterborne diseases, and improve community health.
Access to clean drinking water remains a critical issue in many rural areas of Tanzania. Women and children often walk miles daily to fetch water from unreliable and unsafe sources, leading to health complications such as cholera and typhoid. This initiative aims to drill and install boreholes in ten remote villages, ensuring that communities have sustainable and safe water access. With your support, we will: - Drill boreholes powered by solar energy. - Train community members on water conservation and hygiene practices. - Establish local water committees to oversee maintenance and sustainability. - Reduce waterborne diseases, improving the overall health of the population. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal of providing clean water to thousands of families. Join us in making a lasting impact!
Many rural communities in Tanzania rely on unsafe water sources, leading to health issues and hardships. This project ensures clean and accessible water for thousands of people.
We primarily use deep borehole wells with solar-powered pumps, which provide reliable, clean water even during dry seasons. Each system is designed for the specific geological conditions of the location.
Your donation will help fund the construction of wells, boreholes, and water purification systems, ensuring safe drinking water for communities in need.
Community members contribute labor, local materials, and form water management committees that oversee maintenance, fair distribution, and collect small user fees for repairs. This ensures community ownership and sustainability.
We are currently focusing on rural villages in Arusha, Dodoma, and Singida, where access to clean water is scarce.
We install appropriate filtration systems, conduct regular water quality testing, and train community members on water safety practices, proper storage, and system maintenance.
We train local communities on water management, maintenance, and conservation to keep the water sources functional for years to come.
Each community establishes a maintenance fund from small user fees. We train local technicians who can handle basic repairs, and our technical team provides support for more complex issues.
